You may have heard some of the “buzz” words related to a “growing” movement to produce sustainable food, locally. Our foodscape is changing in Mobile and it IS all the “buzz”!
Would you like to help it continue to "GROW”?
A truly unique event, held on the farm in Midtown Mobile, Farmraiser is an evening of delectable local food, drinks and music in recognition and support of our local food champions. In an effort to build a locally sourced food scene, local chefs and food entrepreneurs are paired with local farmers to create the relationships necessary to accomplish our mission and provide a delicious taste of the future.
Proceeds support educational and outreach programs of Victory Teaching Farm.
We, at Victory Teaching Farm, are already empowering our community to focus on the health, environmental and economic benefits of growing sustainable, clean food locally.
Victory Teaching Farm is an urban teaching farm located one block south of the historic cannon in Midtown Mobile. School to Farm educational field trips, youth service projects, internships, volunteer opportunities, community outreach, quarterly workshops and Fresh Pick Produce Markets at the farm are the many ways we carry out our mission.
As South Alabama’s first and only urban teaching farm, we are working every day at the farm and beyond to create partnerships that will help to help transform the health and well-being of our community through food.
