"A Southern Christmas" at Bragg-Mitchell Mansion: Historic Home presents a Christmas Open House Fundraiser, Saturday 9, 1-4 p.m.

The holiday season is right around the corner, and that means it's time for the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion's Christmas Open House fundraiser. This year, guests are invited to make Christmas "A Southern Christmas" and spend a delightful afternoon at the historic antebellum mansion on Saturday, December 9, 1-4 p.m.
Christmas wreaths on the front door will welcome visitors to the Mansion, dressed in the colors of the season. Christmas of the South will be on display throughout the Mansion. The foyer will be adorned with traditional holiday decor and its stunning curved staircase decorated with holiday greenery.
The Christmas tree will stand as the centerpiece to even more seasonal decorations in the Double Parlor, inviting everyone to gather 'round to sing and listen to their favorite holiday tunes. Homemade holiday treats will be served in the elegantly festive Turn-of-the-Century Tearoom. Children can listen to their favorite Christmas stories told by one of Mobile's favorite storytellers. The Gift Shop, stocked with unique items, will be open for holiday shopping. At "A Southern Christmas," guests will be sure to feel the holiday spirit.
"A Southern Christmas" is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 1-4 p.m. Admission for the Open House is $10 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12 years if purchased in advance. Subject to availability, tickets day of the event will be $12 (adults) and $7 (children under 12.)
