Spring is definately in the when SpringFests, Heritage Festivals, pancake breakfasts and plant sales start popping up all around the community, and among the first spring fests is the annual event hosted by Fowl River Area Civic Association.
FRACA SpringFest is Saturday, April 18, 8-11 a.m. at Fowl River Community House, 5401 Fowl River Road in Theodore. (The building itself is of historic interest, having been built in 1939 by the WPA to provide a meeting center for community activities.) SpringFest 2015 includes a pancake breakfast, a silet auction, a bake sale and--new this year--a yard sale.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children. Call FRACA President Frank Gardner, 973-9262 for tickets or more information.
