Robin Morse Byrd has filled her shop with everything anyone could want or need in the way of decorating for the holidays.
And during the Semmes Christmas Tour, she will offer huge discounts and other incentives to Tour guests (who will be identified with wrist bands.) She also plans to stay open until 8 p.m., an hour after the Tour closes, so that "tourists" can have a little extra time for shopping.
Meggie B's glows with reds and greens, from wreaths and elves to upside-down Christmas trees. There's even an apron for little girls who want to help Mamma with the baking and one for an American Girl Doll who wants to help that little girl in the kitchen--all in Christmas crimson. For those whose taste runs in a quieter vein, the shop has ornaments in white, silver and gold--snowflakes, snowmen and angels.
The 2015 Semmes Christmas Tour lasts from 3-7 p.m. Advance tickets are available at Meggie B's, Ruby Blue Boutique, Semmes Senior Center and Century Bank in Semmes. They are a $10 donation if they are procured prior to the event. Tickets are $12 at the starting point of the Tour, Allentown Elementary School. Maps of sites on the Tour will be at Allentown, where the Tasting Tour takes place from 3-5 p.m.
