Semmes Woman's Club held its annual officer installation banquet at Semmes Senior Center on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Approximately 35 members and guests were on hand to see the following slate of officers take the reigns of leadership for 2015-2016: Terri Milam, president; Pat Goleman, vice president; Kim Gully, recording secretary; Susan Hubbard, corresponding secretary; Sandra Hillman, treasurer and Beth Pippin, parliamentarian.
The Woman's Club is a very active force in the Semmes community. Among their many activities are the Christmas Homes and Tasting Tour (both a community service and a fundraiser), Citizenship Awards for area students, Teacher Appreciation gifts, Retired Teachers' Brunch and Beautification Award. They continue to support the library and Senior Center, as well as historic/heritage preservation whenever the opportunity arises or they are called upon to do so.
