Baldwingrath North lights up the Satsuma sky from Thanksgiving-Christmas: Drive-by visitors are welcome
Suzy Baldwin's house and yard have so many Christmas lights and scenes and music, she has named it Baldwingrath North.
Approximately 20,000 lights, all dancing to Holiday music, light up the sky in her neighborhood at 467 Landing Drive in Satsuma.
From Thanksgiving until Christmas, Suzy welcomes visitors to drive by in the comfort of their own car and, through a special radio station, listen to the music synchronized to the blinking trees and other Christmas scenes. (Neighbors don't complain, she said.)
The joy of Christmas and spreading good cheer came to her at an early age. Her family, she said, were "very poor," but her parents always made Christmas really special and passed the tradition down to her.
It takes a long time for Suzy, her family and her friends to set up the impressive display that is her way to make Christmas "really special" for others.
