Chickasaw seniors met for their monthly Early Bird Breakfast on Monday, April 6 at Chickasaw Civic Center. Among those attending were former Chickasaw mayor, Jim Trout; Chickasaw School Board president, Robert McFall; Jerry and Barbara Pulliam; Robert Wallace; Ross Naze; Bonnie and Horace Allen and Code Enforcement Officer Hal Ewing.
Included in the announcements was a reminder by seniors' program director, Stephanie Stewart, that Bird Tower Boardwalk at Brooks Park is now open. McFall reported that 40 high school seniors will graduate from Chickasaw High School this year, twice the number of graduates last year. And Ewing gave a presentation on littering, the need for plainly visible house numbers and other topics of concern to Chickasaw residents. The next Seniors Early Bird Breakfast will be Monday, May 6 at 7:30 a.m.
