Sunday, April 19, 11 a.m. is the 19th Annual Motorcycle Show at Dauphin Island Elementary School. The event is a fundraiser for the school's PTO but admission to viewers is free. Call Carlos Forte, 509-5451, for more information.

Tuesday, April 14, 6:30 p.m., the Riverside (and surrounding areas) NextDoor Community Action Group will meet at Riverside Baptist Church Chapel. Judge Edmond Naman is the scheduled speaker. "Coffee with Lt. Dannelly" will be at 6:15 p.m.
At Semmes Senior Center, 9635 Moffett Road, Mary Rodning is teaching a watercolor class in painting azaleas on Monday, April 13, 9 a.m. The Senior Center is marking its two-year anniversary with a cookout on Thursday, April 16, 11 a.m. April is also membership month; dues are $40 per year, minimum age is 62. On Wednesday, April 15, 2-4 p.m., the Connie Hudson Mobile Regional Senior Community Center Foundation Board will introduce the Center's new director, Ashley-Nicole Flowers, to seniors. Other activities include a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the completed, furnished pavilion, cake and punch with the director and an opportunity to win a Basket of Gift Cards ($2 per ticket or $5 for 3.)

The 2nd Annual Chickasabogue Paddle is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, a chance for paddlers to experience the nature and wildlife of the Bogue of Chickasaw.
