Located on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico, the DISL is a consortium of 22 Alabama colleges and universities. With a campus surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico, Mobile Bay and Mississippi Sound, it is an ideal location for marine science study and research.
DISL's college courses for credit topics range from "Dolphins and Whales" to "Huricanes of the Gulf Coast" to "Shark and Ray Biology." Fellowships and work-study opportunities are available.
For more information, visit Dauphin Island Sea Lab's Undergrad Overview page or email the DISL registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
