Market on the Hill returns to Lavretta Park (Old Shell Road) on May 28, 3-6 p.m. A City of Mobile press release says that "lots of your favorite vendors will be on the Hill" with "locally grown veggies, including specialty items like Serpent of Sicily squash and others found in the Mediterranean. There will also be locally baked goods and fresh seafood, and music by Corey Harvard."
Market on the Square at Cathedral Square in downtown Mobile is Saturday, May 30, 7:30 a.m.-noon. This one promises "fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods, locally crafted products--and live music as well!"
