Lions District Governor and Past District Governor are guests at January 19 Satsuma Lions Club meeting

The Satsuma Lions Club meeting was Monday, January 19, and among the guests were Lions District Governor Glen Elmore and Past District Governor Ron Mitchell.  Three new members were recognized and welcomed by President Tom Williams; they were  Herman Wood, Justin McNellage and Jean McCutchen.  On the Satsuma Lions' agenda is participation in Friends for Satsuma Schools Swamp Fest March 7--they'll be selling their famous jambalaya.  The Lions are also planning their Spring Roadblock May 2nd.  Members selected Linda Robbins as their candidate for Satsuma Citizen of the Year.  The winner of this prestigious award will be announced at a banquet March 26; all candidates are recognized and honored for their community service at this banquet.
