![]() Coastal Response Center South Bay Project will present an evening of music on Saturday, April 11 beginning at 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy the sounds of classic rock, oldies, gospel and bluegrass. The Coastal Response Center is at 7385 Highway 188 in Coden. Lori Bosarge of South Bay Project said, "This is one of the best music events in south Mobile County, featuring the area's best musicians." It's a family-friendly event with admission of $5 at the door; those 16 and younger are admitted free. Bosarge said that organizers are collecting non-perishable food items for the South Bay Food Pantry. Especially needed are dried beans, rice, pasta and canned meats, but all donations are appreciated. And there's a bonus: For each item donated, donors will receive another ticket on the door prizes to be given away. Businesses and crafts vendors can display and sell wares or provide information for a donation of $5; tables are for rent at $5 each. Set-up may start at 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact Bosarge at 251-824-1135 or 251-824-7265 or at ibosarge@centurytel.net or Pat Creel, 251-422-7592. Comments are closed.
