At the Theodore UMC Prayer Shawl Ministry's Christmas Luncheon on December 1, representatives from RSVP received donations of many Project Linus blankets, all made by the women of the Ministry. Pictured are, from left, Susan Brown, co-chair of TUMC Prayer Shawl Ministry, Stacey Killingworth and Gayle Agee from RSVP, and Jo Everett, co-chair of the Ministry. This group of needleworkers not only have created and produced hundreds of shawls and afghans for their outreach ministry in the past 4 years, they have also helped many other organizations reach their goals in their programs. The group can always use donations of yarn or gift cards to such stores as Jo-Ann Fabric or WalMart. They are also open to new members and welcome an opportunity to serve the community by providing their prayer shawls. Call Jo Everett, 653-0100 for information.
