Saraland Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon was Tuesday, October 9 at Saraland Civic Center. Pres. Jeff Schmitz welcomed the members and guests. Rev. Eddie Holmes of Celeste Road gave the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance. New members were recognized. The New Business Spotlight was on Hampton Inns & Suites, and representative Briana Browning gave a short presentation on the business. North Mobile Internet Services, Inc. was given the distinction of Small Business of the Month (October.) Laurel Flowers introduced Guest Speaker Mike Lee, Pres/CEO and owner of Page and Jones, Inc. Lee discussed the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway and outlined steps already taken and those upcoming to complete the project. Mayor Howard Rubenstein gave the current status of Hurricane Michael. 7A number of events were noted by Shilo Miller, Executive Director of Saraland Chamber--Ribbon Cuttings, Mayor's Prayer Breakfast, runs, Pumpkin Patches, Mistletoe Market.
