The 8th Annual Satsuma SwampFest is Saturday, March 7, 2020, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Satsuma High School campus. The event is sponsored by Friends for Satsuma Schools, and all proceeds go to the school.
The event is a day filled with fun, food and entertainment.
For example, there's the Northside Cruisers Car Show; all funds raised from that event go to FFSS.
There'll be inflatables and other activities and games for children.
Family entertainment will be provided. Among other acts, the Robinson School of Dance Dancers and Dancing Gators will perform and music will come from the Port City Trio, the Chestangs gospel and Blue Grass family and others.
Arts and crafts vendors will display and sell everything from pottery and paintings to tutus, summer wreaths and romance novels.
Plan to spend the day at Swamp Fest--food vendors will be on hand with plenty to eat and drink. There'll even be a raffle that includes a $300 Walmart Gift Card.
