Mark this Date: Sunday, February 16, 2:30-3:30 p.m. Gulf Coast Ducks is hosting "The Last Siege--Historical Civil War Tour and Book Signing." Gulf Coast Ducks, in collaboration with local author Paul Brueske, presents a historical tour examining Mobile's Civil War history. Travel back to in time to explore the 1865 Mobile Campaign and other pertinent Civil War events that occurred in the Mobile Bay area. The public is invited to this hour long adventure featuring a splash in Mobile River and enjoy a meet-and-greet book-signing with Brueske at The Fort of Colonial Mobile afterwards.

About the Author:
As a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, Brueske became fascinated with studying the Civil War, in particular the 1865 campaign for Mobile. He founded the Mobile Civil War Round Table and regularly gives talks on Civil War topics. He is currently the Head Track & Field Coach at the University of South Alabama. This is his first book, a result of many years of research on the Mobile Campaign.
