![]() One feature of the 13th Annual Semmes Azalea Festival at Mary G. Montgomery High School Saturday, March 14, is the Azalea Festival Car, Truck and Bike Show. Sponsored by Floorz N More, Hickory Pit Too and others, the car show runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and includes many awards, some of which can be voted on by the public at a quarter a vote. Lunch will be for sale, as well. While visitors can enjoy viewing about 60 custom, classic and race cars, and other vehicles, another reason for the show is compelling. Organizer David Miller is a double transplant recipient--bone marrow and liver, and proceeds from food sales, registration and voting will be used for education and promotion of organ donation and transplantation. To register to become an organ donor, see http://www.donatelife.net. To register a vehicle in the car show, see http://www.azaleafestivalcarshow.com/ And for more information on Semmes Azalea Festival, go to http://www.semmeschamber.org. Comments are closed.
