Semmesonian Art Space to feature Camellia Art among its pieces on exhibit during Semmes Camellia Festival January 30, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Part of the Semmes Camellia Festival on Saturday, January 30, is an art exhibit at the Semmesonian Art Space in Semmes Public Library, 9150 Moffett Road. Featured among the other artworks are beautiful paintings of camellias, such as those pictured.
At Semmes First Baptist Church, 4070 Wulff Road, is the main event, with rows and rows of camellia blossoms on exhibit, table-scapes and collections featuring camellias and informative booths and presentations.
Semmes Heritage Park on Wulff Road will hold Open House from noon until 2 p.m. and the new Camellia Park on Illinois Street will be open for all to see what it has to offer--sheltered picnic areas; walking trail; and, of course, camellias.
