The Citronelle United Methodist Church Quilt Show and Country Store event is Saturday, November 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
For a $5 donation, visitors can view more than 100 handmade quilts--some old, some new--at the church at 7970 Lebaron Avenue. This year, said Janice Ross of the UMW, the show will contain, in addition to the quilts, beautiful runners, placemats and other items made by the group's Quilting Angels, perfect for gifts or to keep.
The Country Store will be filled with jellies, relishes, candies, cakes and pies, all made by talented church members. And, for $7, one can enjoy a lunch of soup, salad, dessert and drink, served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to Citronelle UMC missions.
