The Pumpkin Patch at Tanner Williams United Methodist Church, 1550 Grand Bay Wilmer Road N. will be open October 1-31 with lots of fun activities
Fall is almost here and that means that the Pumpkin Patch at Tanner Williams United Methodist Church, 1550 Grand Bay Wilmer Road N. will open soon with fun activities all through the month of October.
From October 1-31, the Patch will be open daily (call for hours.) Visitors can stop in and take family photos or schedule parties or other special events.
School field trips can be scheduled for Wednesdays or Fridays. "Story Time in the Patch" is every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. under the big oak tree.
Saturdays are special. On October 7th, children can "Paint a Pumpkin" for a dollar (all day.) On the 14th, there'll be "Movie in the Patch" with popcorn, drinks and a child-friendly show at 4 p.m.
Fall Festival is Saturday, October 21st. There'll be games, old-timey demonstrations, Decorated Cake contest, children's crafts, a Cake Walk, face painting and more. Pulled pork sandwiches and dinners will be available for purchase from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
On the 28th, there's "Trunk or Treat" with free hot dogs and chips beginning at 6 p.m.
