![]() Members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry at Theodore United Methodist Church have completed more than 60 caps and some scarves to aid the ministry of a sister church, Georgetown-Chunchula UMC. When that pastor, Diane Baldwin, issued a call to those who crochet and knit to help make winter gear for men and women at the Salvation Army Center, TUMC needle-workers jumped on board (Ashland Place UMC and individuals responded to the call, as well.) The women of TUMC Prayer Shawl Ministry meet at the church each Monday at noon to work on their shawls and other items. Pictured at their luncheon December 1 are from left, Jo Everett and Beverly Calvert, both of whom made at least 9 of the "prayer caps." Comments are closed.
