The Jazz Band from the Alabama School of the Arts at University of Mobile will present “The Spy Who Loved Me: The Music that Bonds Us” on March 26, 7 p.m. at Redemption Church, 1251 Industrial Pkwy., Saraland, Alabama. Tickets are $10 and are available at itickets.com/universityofmobile or at the door.
The program will feature spy songs from popular James Bond movies and other thrillers, including “Skyfall,” “It Had to Be You” and “Live and Let Die.” The talented group of instrumentalists and vocalists will place the audience in the middle of their favorite spy movies with these tunes, said director Kenn Hughes. Hughes is chair of the Alabama School of the Arts Department of Music, director of RamCorps, and associate professor of music and instrumental studies.
