On Saturday, May 9, 8 a.m., the Via Health, Fitness and Enrichment Center is sponsoring Via! Bolt 5K and Fun Run. The fundraising event for Via will begin and end at the Center, 1717 Dauphin Street, and will take participants on a trek along a Midtown route.
The race, said Barbara Estes of Via, is an intergenerational run to include youth and older adults and families. Via Bolt is a certified 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run Course. Entry fees range from $10-$25 per person, depending on age, and includes a tee shirt, race bags with give-aways and a post-event party.
