The Women's Club of Satsuma is on the move, according to President Mary Atchison. Members are working on a replica of Union Church, the first church in Satsuma, and on February 2, they visited Semmes Heritage Park to view Malone Chapel, the replica of Semmes Baptist Church.
On March 4, the members served as hostesses for the dedication luncheon regarding Satsuma's historic marker (see photo above, courtesy of Mary Atchison.) The group was also involved in the 2015 Satsuma SwampFest March 7, as they worked the silent auction table to help Friends for Satsuma Schools.
Friday, March 13, Women's Club members will raise money with a table at Dixie Auction House in Satsuma.
For information on the Club, contact Atchison at email@example.com.
