Charlene Rains of the Club said, "We are looking for people in the Mobile area who are interested in knowing more about gender equality issues, anti gender-based violence issues, and women's empowerment issues. We invite anyone, male or female, who would like to be involved in efforts to advocate for these issues. Gender equality is not only a women’s issue, it is a human rights issue that requires everyone's participation. If you are in the Mobile area, please consider joining us Thursday evening, March 26 to learn more."
The Club is also sponsoring a service project that night. Called "Free The Girls: Giving Women a Way Out of Human Trafficking," the project calls for women to "Bring a bra and a buck" (for shipping) and join the movement on Thursday, March 26.
